Dovecote Cottage

A quirky property
Master bedroom – largest double bed, clothes rail, hair drier.

Tiny box room (next door to master) – comfy, thick double mattress on the floor. Space-saving stairs lead up from this bedroom through the open hatch to the mezzanine/attic room (the rooms are adjoining, so limited privacy).

Mezzanine/attic room – low ceiling, so best for kids over toddler age or agile adults (because of the stepladder too) – comfy thick double mattress & single mattress, both on the floor.

Garden studio (occasional bedroom) – available on request – double bed. Most guests would probably only want to use it in the summer – although it has a heater & good insulation so it warms up quickly. As it has no plumbing, the walk up the terraced garden to the bathroom is subject to the prevailing weather! It’s also used for storage, so be prepared to share with garden tools & storage items! What a quirky stay!

There a big comfy sofa in the sitting room that could also be used as a bed if really needed eg if the very steep original cottage stairs are too much for anyone.
